Self-employed consultant (London) • September 2016 – Present

Events management, including a national conference with 98% delegate satisfaction. Organisation of national workshop series, involving negotiation of contracts with multiple venues. Oversight of office relocation and IT infrastructure, including management of a transition to Azure cloud. Development of a membership database, and national website management, including data-driven optimisation of the website using Google Analytics. Associate editorship of national in-house magazine. Management of national email newsletter, sent to over 4,000.

 

The Third Age Trust (Bromley) • July 2011 – September 2016

Part-time work throughout my school and university careers. Initially clerical work with greater responsibility given over time. Significant work on company website and national events, both alone and as part of a team.

 

Excellence for All (Tonbridge) • August 2013

Telephone fundraising on behalf of Tonbridge School. As a beneficiary of the scholarship programme, I was able to use my personal experience to demonstrate its enormous benefits and achieved donations exceeding £10,000 over two weeks.

Part-time summer internship working in content marketing and web development.

 

Le Verre Gourmand (Rhône-Alpes, France) • February – June 2016

Sales and Marketing internship undertaken as part of my year abroad. Varied work including face-to-face interaction with clients at events with the sales team, as well as office-based tasks including rebuilding the company website and managing the CRM.

Chairman of the organising committee, running a talent competition between eight local schools, ultimately raising over £2,000 for local charities and forging tighter inter-school links.

Keen clay pigeon shooter, member of UK National Rifle Association and Old Tonbridgian Rifle Club, holder of NRA Range Officer and BASC Shotgun Safety Officer qualifications. Amateur skier. Cryptocurrency investor. Full, clean UK driving licence held.
